THE ART & CRAFT OF FINE CANDY-MAKING with Susan Bizon
This perennial favorite is always one of the first classes to fill up. Our own Susan Bizon draws on her years of experience making delicious and strikingly beautiful candies that are, in our opinion, absolutely indistinguishable from those from professional candy-crafters. You won't want to miss this!  She'll be instructing us in how to make:
  • Traditional caramels - tiny, perfect caramels, enrobed in lovely dark chocolate and finished with a light sprinkle of sea salt.
  • Classic Foolproof White Chocolate Fudge -- traditional fudge recipes require a candy thermometer and a fair amount of precision to get the texture just right. Come learn about the secret ingredient that simplifies the whole process, resulting in a smooth, silky fudge that Susan will show you how to present for gift-giving.
  • Pumpkin Gingerbread Truffles - yes, really! Bittersweet chocolate truffle,  infused with pumpkin & orange, with a little crushed gingersnap for texture. Oh, my!

JULISKA NIGHT!
It's time for the annual, month-long gift-with-purchase Juliska event and we're kicking it off with a little good cheer and a few easy hors d'oeuvres made with Stonewall Kitchen products!  We want to show off some of Juliska's exquisite new pieces, that work just as well  with your Sunday afternoon football feast as they do at an elegant dinner party.

If you're not familiar with Juliska, you should know just how versatile their stoneware is. Its stunning appearance doesn't tell the whole story! Each and every piece is oven, microwave, and dishwasher safe. We love it because the same gorgeous platter that shows off your favorite salad, can also be used in the oven for nachos or a  baked seafood dish!

From November 1st through the 30th, Juliska will offer a gift with purchase.  Here's how it works:
With a $150 Juliska purchase, receive their Berry & Thread pie dish ($68 value), or
With a $300 Juliska purchase, receive their Berry & Thread appetizer plate ($95 value), or
With a $500 Juliska purchase, receive their Berry & Thread large covered casserole ($145 value)

Many of you have participated in the gift-with-purchase event in the past. You already know what a great deal it is so I'm sure we'll see you in November. For those of you who haven't,  you might want to think about pieces you can use when you're serving holiday guests this year. You'll fall in love after you've purchased your first piece! Come and see us on November 5th and find out what Juliska is all about.
Wednesday, November 11th,2015 - 6:00pm - 8:00pm -- $35 - CLASS FULL!

A Season of Giving - A Christmas Open House
We've all had angels in our lives. From a special friend who was there when you needed them to a miraculous intervention by someone you didn't even know or see again. Sometimes you're the angel and sometimes you just feel like you have been visited by one. We've decided to do a little different take on our Christmas season this year, starting with our open house. We realize that as a group, as a town, as a country,.....we've been blessed---in so many ways. As a result, we want to afford you an opportunity to be somebody else's angel. This year as we were doing our shopping to stock the store for the holiday season, we chose many items that help out deserving folks around the world with each purchase. We know you'll love these items as much as we did!  They're perfect for gift-giving and giving back all at the same time.

COME VISIT OUR OPEN HOUSE on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 15th and enjoy a bite to eat, some samples, delightful conversation, and see the store all dressed in its Christmas finest. We'll have all of our Christmas merchandise out, as well as our "angel" items.  We know you'll enjoy yourself and we look forward to seeing you there!
Wednesday, December 9, 2015 - 6:00pm - 8:00pm - $35 - CLASS FULL!

The hottest Cookie class of the year! Sharon will be instructing and providing all you'll need that night for class. Come with a desire to learn and you'll have a ball. We'll be doing a snowflake, Santa's head, a cute snowman, and a beautiful angel.

As you can see, the busy season is upon us!  That's okay, we're ready and we always look forward to visiting with you in the store. The tea's always on so come by and say hello!
