NOW THAT WE'RE midway through September we're all back in our Fall routines.  The crisp mornings with such beautiful sunrises have been exceptional! Our full class schedule started up yesterday, with many classes to come. All of our cooking classes are full, but please don't miss out on our very hands-on knife skills class. Not only will you learn how to peel, cut, chop, and sharpen properly, but you'll leave with a Wusthof Bench Scraper! Here are the details:

THE CUTTING EDGE
Most of our customers love to spend time in the kitchen and have some great cooking skills, but most of us could always use a little help with our knife skills. Ed Bartush, of Wusthof, teaches a wonderful class to help all of us along our path to honing our skills in the kitchen.  Learn how to hold your knife correctly as well as slice and chop properly.  This class always provides a wealth of information and is quite entertaining as well. C'mon -- learn something new!

PLUS, Our KNIFE-SHARPENING EVENT! 
We also want to remind you of our knife-sharpening event, also taking place this SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26th from 12n - 3:00PM.  It somehow seems that everyone comes in and inquires about knife-sharpening about a week after we have the event. We really don't want anyone to miss this FREE EVENT, so please spread the word! Ed Bartush of Wusthof will be here sharpening knives from NOON UNTIL 3:00PM.  Bring up to three knives, (no serrated, please). The event is free, although we will gladly accept DONATIONS to COMMUNITY SHARING 
NOTE: We'll be closing a little early (3:00pm) on Saturday, September 26th due to an event that the staff will be attending.
