COOKING CLASSES AT ACORN FARM
What a beautiful spring we're having . . . and what a busy spring it will become! As you can see below, we have a plethora of delightful cooking classes coming up, and we've even expanded the grill classes to make room for you! They will be held outdoors at ACORN FARM and award-winning CHEF STEVEN GROSTICK will be the Grillmaster for each one of those classes. Sign up before they fill up!

SHOP 'TIL YOU DROP

A BENEFIT FOR FIVE POINTS OF HOPE
We are also very pleased to announce an event that we're doing in conjunction with THE CLOTHING COVE, called "Shop 'til you Drop!" It will be held on Tuesday, June 9th from 6:30 until 8:30 pm. Shop 'til You Drop Tickets are $20 if they're pre-purchased either at Clothing Cove or Acorn Farm and all proceeds go to FIVE POINTS OF HOPE, a wonderful group that assists cancer patients and their families if they are experiencing financial difficulties due to cancer treatment.  Both stores will offer 20% off that evening for ticket holders, as well as door prizes and other fun perks. We'll have Chef Steven serving gourmet picnic fare, including mini-pulled chicken sandwiches, a superfood slaw, mini-cornbread muffins, and strawberry shortcakes. Plus, you'll get some recipes to take home! OXO will be demonstrating some of their summer kitchen gadgets. Clothing Cove will offer a gift with purchase of $50 or more and will host the designers of Scarves of Westwood, featured on Channel 7's "Mom's a Genius." You'll treat yourself to a complimentary hand spa treatment with Flawless Radiance. We hope you'll consider spending the evening at "Shop 'til you Drop." Each of us knows someone who's struggled with cancer. What a great way to help out and have a little fun at the same time!

We'll welcome our resident Cookie Queen, Sharon Mancini, to help us learn to decorate cookies like the pro that she is!  No need to bring anything to class.  No artistic talent required for Sharon to work her magic!  You'll leave the class with four large cookies decorated by none other than YOU!  The four symbols of summer we'll be decorating are:

This class is an annual favorite for good reason.  We're featuring Susan's delicious fish tacos and some great sides from the southwest.  This menu  is one of those go-to meals that works no matter who you're serving because everybody LOVES it!  We'll have:
