Fall Classes
New Sauces that make Supper
Like you, we're always trying to include more vegetables into our lives. But, planning interesting dishes with a "plant slant" can be challenging. That's where a new, delicious sauce comes to the rescue!

IN THIS ISSUE, we've banished "blah" in favor of "wow" with three fall vegetable dishes. We're roasting and grilling, then topping each with new, inspired sauces. You'll find Roasted Cauliflower with Sauce Vierge, Brussels Sprouts with Toasted Walnuts and Apple Cider-Chile Butter Sauce, and Grilled Eggplant Antipasto with Creamy Walnut Sauce, Tomato, and Feta. We thought these recipes would be good, however, we didn't know they'd be fantastic! Three keepers and repeaters! PLUS, Ten Tips for busy weeknight cooking, and a 101 primer on stove-to-oven cookware.

Join Cooks'Wares Culinary Class
Volunteer Team!

If you are a passionate cook who enjoys providing customer service and working as part of a team, you may be the person we are looking for! Our volunteers work with staff members to set up before classes, serve beverages and food, and clear and wash dishes. Those with the needed skills may be asked to assist with prep prior to class. The average work shift is 4 to 5 hours.

Volunteering at our classes gives you the opportunity to learn some tips and techniques from professional chefs and instructors. Additional benefits include a 15% discount coupon valid on most items in the store within one week of the class, a complimentary class after assisting in 5 classes within 120 days.

To apply for this exciting volunteer opportunity with Cooks'Wares Culinary Crew, pick up an application in either store. Selected applicants will be contacted.
