Nov 30 - Tip of the Day: Skin color isn't a reliable sign of ripeness; in some states dyeing oranges is legal. Surprisingly, an orange with a greenish cast may be sweeter and riper than one that's uniformly orange.

 

Nov 24 - Tip of the Day: Lightly flour the sharp edge of your cookie cutters to prevent the dough shapes from sticking to the cutter.

Nothing warms you up like a hot Steamer and a piece of Biscotti. Steamers are hot, milk-based drinks in all different flavors. Biscotti is a long, dry, hard cookie that is designed for dunking. Put the two together and YUM! Anita Watts will show how easy it is to make these tummy warmer treats.

Come learn from our in-store instructor how to make delicious wheat bread using freshly ground wheat flour.  Instructor will also demonstrate how to make our cinnamon/currant variation.  Includes pan and one loaf of bread to take home.

The purpose of the Junior League is exclusively educational and charitable and is to promote voluntarism.
