Along the way, we'll help you learn some new cooking techniques that will build skill and confidence. We'll practice on Charred Broccolini with Garlic-Caper Sauce, Pan-Seared Salmon with a Three-Citrus Relish, and Sauteed Green Beans with Mustard-Soy Shallots. See what features to look for when selecting a slow cooker for your kitchen.

Making Stock for Soups & Sauces

Soups are hot on the menu this season of the year. Jack Carlisle from Jack's Wood Fired Pizza will be teaching the basics to broth soups as well as the cream soups and how to correct the taste with salt, acid and sugars. He will also introduce how to make a roux and how to use it. Don't miss this great instruction. 

 

Wednesday, January 22 - LOGAN 6:30pm

Hands-On Wheat Bread

Come learn from our in-store instructor how to make delicious wheat bread using freshly ground wheat flour. Patty Taylor will also demonstrate how to make our cinnamon/currant variation. Price includes pan and one loaf of bread to take home.

Getting to Know Your Bosch  

A Bosch Mixer is definitely one of the most hard working appliances one could ever hope to have in the kitchen. Come learn how you can use the Bosch for things you never knew possible in the kitchen. Whether you're just getting to know your Bosch or if you've had it for years, you'll certainly learn some new tricks with Resident Chef, JaDene Denniston.
