Chill Out with Ice Cream Sandwiches
There's no doubt that savoring summer and enjoying ice cream are nearly synonymous, but we're thinking beyond bowls and cones for everyone's favorite treat. We're taking our ice cream on-the-go in ice cream sandwiches!

IN THIS ISSUE, we're churning homemade ice cream and putting it between freshly baked cookies. You'll find a New York Cheesecake flavor with a fresh Cherry Swirl between Shortcrust Cookies, Better-Than-It sandwiches (Vanilla Bean Frozen Custard on Oatmeal Cookies dipped in Dark Chocolate), and Early Summer Sunrise sandwiches (Apricot Ice Cream between Snickerdoodle Cookies). Mouth watering yet? Ready to chill out?

Kids Cooking Camp

Kids like being in the kitchen and that is the best time to learn some good techniques and tips. Our 3 day cooking camp is a great opportunity for your child to have some hands-on experience with prepping, cutting, mixing, and baking different menu items that will help them enjoy the preparing as much as the eating. This class is for ages 8-11.

 
Thursday, July 10, 2014 - LOGAN - 6:30 p.m. 
Greek Yogurt

Rich, creamy and tart, Greek Yogurt is delicious and oh so good for you! Especially when you make it yourself. Joy Ercanbrack will be teaching how to make greek yogurt, how to substitute it for heavy ingredients like sour cream, butter, etc., and she'll share the formula for making super-food smoothies too.

Irresistibly Gluten Free

Christina Davis, author of "Irresistibly GlutenFree: Simple Family Favorite Recipes" will be teaching us how to make gluten-free bread, hamburger buns, orange rolls, and banana bread. We will also learn how to grind gluten-free flours using the Nutrimill.

Cupcake Craze

Cupcakes are a fun treat to have for a birthday or just because, and they seem to be the latest craze. Kelli Barker will provide you with a hands-on experience teaching you everything from baking, to the final touches of decorating. This is a hands-on class so sign up early as there are a limited number of seats available.

Come learn from our in-store instructor how to make delicious wheat bread using freshly ground wheat flour. Patty Taylor will also demonstrate how to make our cinnamon/currant variation. Price includes pan and one loaf of bread to take home.

Italian Pizza Oven

Come learn to make healthy artisan pizza, cedar planked salmon, roasted veggies, crustini's and so much more with the Italian pizza oven by Camp Chef. Sue Measom from Camp Chef will join us and share her favorite recipes and tips for cooking in your own backyard!

Juicing

Andrea Choate will be in our kitchen to teach you about juicing and the health benefits of it. She has had personal experience with the wellness effect of juicing. There will be many ideas and recipes shared. If you have a juicer or are just interested in finding more out about juicing don't miss this class.

Macarons are becoming a hot item right now and they are delicious! Kanako Arnold, Crumb Brothers Pastry Chef, will be teaching you how simple and easy the process is to make these delicate  cookies. We have a new chef in our Kitchen. Noraina Peterson is a culinary graduate with a passion for International Fusion Cuisine. She likes to take ingredients that are foreign and break them down to a simpler form to enhance one's culinary experience. Come and enjoy a night with Puerto Rican Cuisine.
