BBQ RibsThursday, June 16 - No Cook Summer Meals - 6:30 p.m.

Cooking dinner is a challenge for everyone in the summer.  We don't want to heat up the house but let's face it...we have to eat.  Leah Nielsen has the solution to this problem.  Great recipes for no cook, no fuss summer meals.  Quick and easy, satisfying and delicious!  These recipes are sure to be repeated over and over again.

 

Saturday, June 18 - Southern BBQ Dinner - 11:00 a.m.
Sticky fall off the bone ribs, sweet cornbread, and all the sides make a breat southern dinner.  Kezia Whitteker has the recipes you need to make this unforgettable meal.  Whether you're entertaining or want a special dinner with the family, this will definately be a delicious go-to meal!

 

Tuesday, June 21 - Campfire Cooking Goes Gourmet - 6:30 pm  

Everyone has had enough of the same old tin foil dinners.  Soggy carrots and mushy potatoes will not cut it anymore!  Take your outdoor cooking to the next level with Chef Robert Sanderson.  Your family will be begging to go camping just for the wonderful food cooked on the campfire!

 

Thursday, June 23 - Crazy About Cakes - 6:30 p.m. 

Cakes are always a hit.  Whether at home with the family, on a picnic with friends, or a summer BBQ with neighbors, cake is always a welcome addition.  Whether  you have something to celebrate or not-come get crazy about cakes!  Kelly Marshall has delicious and easy recipes that will become favorites at any gathering.  Don't miss out on these tasty homemade recipes!

 

Saturday, June 25 - Eat More, Weigh Less: Recipes for the Summertime Waistline - 11:00 a.m.
Still avoiding those shorts or that bathing suit?  Come learn how to feel fuller on fewer calories and achieve weight loss without being hungry or feeling deprived of flavor all the time!  As part of the well-balanced cooking series, this class will provide great nutritional insights, tasty recipes, and TWO WEEKS worth of a healthy menu plan developed by Sports Academy's Registered Dietician Mary Dimmick.

 

Tuesday, June 28 - Dinner in a Dash - 6:30 p.m. 

We all need a few really quick meals that we can pull out of our back pocket and have on the table.  However, usually that means sacrificing flavor AND nutrition.  Not anymore!  Jenny Beykirch has great recipes that will be on the table quick and easy, plus they're healthy!  Did I mention they're kid friendly too!  Soon your children will be saying, "Mom, can we make that again"?  Get dinner on the table in a dash with the recipes in this amazing class.


Thursday, June 30 - Summer Sandwiches - 6:30 p.m. 

Sandwiches are a great thing to feed the family in the summer to avoid heating up the house.  Rather than peanut butter & jelly or just plain old lunch meat, take it to the next level.  Resident Chef, JaDene Denniston,  has wonderful recipes that are delicious, satisfying, and are a cinch to prepare.  They also travel well and are a great item for summer picnics!  Don't miss out on these scrumptious summer sandwiches.

 

Wednesday, July 6 - Hands On Whole Wheat Bread - 1:00 p.m.  

Come learn from our in-store instructor how to make delicious wheat bread using freshly ground wheat flour.  Instructor will also demonstrate how to make our cinnamon/currant variation.  Includes pan and one loaf of bread to take home. 

 

Tuesday, July 7- Perfect Under Pressure: Electric Pressure Cooking - 6:30 p.m. 

Couldn't we all use a little more time in the day?  With the electric pressure cooker in your kitchen you can cut down on your time spent in the kitchen so you can spend more time out of the kitchen.  Resident Chef, JaDene Denniston has all the tools you'll need to master this appliance.  It's soon to become your favorite!
