A Fabulous, Make-Ahead Spring Dinner
Spring is such a sweet relief to a long winter season! Soon we'll be digging in the garden, and getting together to celebrate the many special occasions that come each spring.

IN THIS ISSUE, we're planning ahead with a make-ahead menu worthy of any number of spring occasions. This menu, accomplished in steps ahead of time, allows for an enjoyable entertaining experience. Make the entire menu, or cherry-pick your favorites: Prime Rib Roast, Spring-Thyme Potatoes, Asparagus with Lemon-Pistachio Gremolata, Salt & Pepper Biscuits, French Green Bean Salad, and Zabaglione with Amaretti for dessert. The only thing left is to pick a date for your spring celebration!

We are excited to welcome local restaurant owner, Diana Sampson. She owns and operates Jack's Wood Fired Pizza and is coming to share some recipes and tips you won't want to miss. Sign up quick because this class won't last!

Sharpening Your Knife Skills
Robert Sanderson will be demonstrating some basic and important knife skills that will improve your cooking experience. Come learn some things that will enhance how you slice, dice & more. This is a hands-on class so space is limited. Dinner is served with the class.

Spring Brunch
Hosting the garden club? Throwing a shower? Look to this class for a colorful menu inspired by the first signs of springs. Shan England will be sharing some delicious and new recipes that will put some "spring" in your entertaining events.

Pass the Cheese Please!
We are having another great cheesemaking class with Patty Peterson. During this class she will be teaching a few more fun to make cheeses at home. They are not hard when you learn the in's and out's of cheesemaking. Patty is an exceptional cheese maker, come join her as she shares her knowledge with us!

If you have trouble getting a loaf of good whole wheat bread or if you just want to learn how, don't miss this class. Patty Taylor, our house bread maker, will be teaching a hands-on class where you will learn how to mix and then form your own loaf of 100% whole wheat bread. Come learn how light, delicious, and nutritious this bread can be. Price includes a loaf of bread and a bread pan.

Join Janis Boettinger and Geno Schupp on a Mediterranean Cruise to Morocco! An abundance of exotic and aromatic spices and herbs; fruits from dates to citrus to quince; walnuts and almonds; olives and preserved lemons; fish, lamb, beef, and chicken - and so much more - combined in surprising and delicious ways. Oksana Roth, a new addition to our kitchen, will be teaching the techniques to making Torrone. Oksana is a native of Russia and moved to the United States to further her education. She discovered Torrone while traveling through Italy. This traditional Italian candy, of soft nougat and roasted nuts, has won the hearts of people throughout the world for a reason. This simple-to-make treat will become your favorite too!

Blending East Asia with Southeast Asia and a touch of the West, Vietnamese food captivates through its refreshing flavors, varied textures, and vibrant colors. In this class Noraina Petersonwill share the flavorful, aromatic dishes of Vietnam. Learn how to balance hot, sour, salty and sweet in this vibrant cuisine.

Letty Flatt, retired executive pastry chef at Deer Valley, will be gracing our kitchen for a wonderful class on Spring pastries. Letty is a very talented chef and brings with her many tips and delicious recipes that all will love. Come learn from the best and enjoy a wonderful evening, taste delicious food and discover some essential tips to pastries.
