In a few days, it will be official - Spring! With the new season comes many occasions to celebrate -- bridal showers, weddings, graduations, and Easter (it's early this year, March 27th). Take a break from the routine and get together with family and friends for a springtime dinner. In this issue, we've prepared a great menu based on familiar classics, but each with a fresh twist! Invite people over, set the table, and get cooking!

MOTHER SAUCES Sold Out!
Monday, March 21, 2016 - 6:30 pm, $40
Jamie Heydinger - Chef, River Town Grill
Many of you have asked for a sauces class to step-up your gourmet dishes. Jamie will concentrate on "mother sauces" the traditional bases for all sauces. He'll explain how to adapt them to different dishes. He will also cover a traditional Raisin Sauce for your Easter ham. Class is limited to 16.

Dave will be making a traditional meat loaf along with several other varieties including a vegetable meatloaf and a chicken or turkey meatloaf. Guaranteed to be a delicious and very creative class. Class is limited to 16. 
 
FRENCH CUISINE FIT FOR MARIE ANTOINETTE 
Monday, April 11, 2016 - 6:30 pm, $50 
Jamie Heydinger - Chef, River Town Grill April 7 is Marietta's birthday. To celebrate this, we will have Chef Jamie teach a little of the art of French cooking. Jamie is classically French trained and will teach you how to prepare a delicious French dinner. There will be salad, main course and a dessert. Class is limited to 16.

Dagmar Kupsche - The Cook's Shop Continuing with Marietta's Birthday theme, Dagmar will teach the French Pastry method of making Napoleons. Class is limited to 16.

Chad Winebrenner - Chef, Grand Pointe, Vienna 
Pho is a traditional Vietnamese noodle dish. Pho restaurants have been growing in popularity all over the US, this is your chance to see why! Chef Chad will teach traditional Pho (the original oodles of noodles) covering broths, noodles and condiments. Such a treat for us, since we cannot enjoy these delicious dishes locally!
