A Mediterranean Cruise: Destination Crete
Join Janis Boettinger and Geno Schupp on a Mediterranean Cruise to Crete! Considered one of the healthiest diets on earth, Cretan cooking is founded on lots of olive oil, vegetables, pulses (like lentils), grains, fruits, and seafood, with only limited amounts of red meat - once each week or two. Apparently the cuisine has changed little since though they have been willing to incorporate a few New World delicacies such as tomatoes, zucchini, and green beans. With all the fresh vegetables in abundance at this time of year come taste some new recipes and explore a new culture with us!
